Over the years, it was important that automobile manufacturers get the word out to mechanics in the field, about changes and procedures developed by factory engineers that remedied problems discovered after the introduction of a specific model year car. One way they did this was through a column in MoToR Magazine called "Factory Service Slants". MoToR has kindly given us permission to reproduce them here. Many of these changes and procedures did not make their way into service manuals and may not be available anywhere else. We hope that you may find something useful here for your car restoration project.
